It's been a rough week around here. Double ear infection, sore throat, diarrhea (TMI?), fever...you name it, she's got it! Needless to say, we've had a hard time getting into the holiday spirit around here.
Of course, Lollipops can make a sick little girl feel a little better...
And so can visits from Granny Nanny!
(Looking out the window, waiting for Granny)
After a week on antibiotics, it seems that the fog has been lifted and we can finally see the Christmas lights! So with less that two weeks until Christmas, we've started to kick it into high gear and get the Christmas ball rolling. We've wrapped a few presents, all of which are to Buggy. I'm apologizing in advance for my lack of thoughtful Christmas gifts this year. With all of us being sick, it's been hard to find the time/motivation to get out and shop. Not to mention the fact that it's been bitterly cold and snowing!
Being a very good girl by not touching or pulling on the "Twee"!
"Ooooo Wow!" Stockings!
Playing with her favorite ornanment, "DeDe", aka Dora.
Buggy sure is happy to be on the tail end of this nasty virus!
How exciting (and unexpected) it was to wake up this morning to beautiful snow! From the time she looked out the window Bug was ready to go play. She kept yelling, "Side, side!" Wanting to go outside!
Pointing at the pretty snow.
Yelling, "Oooo Wow!"
Wondering when she can go back outside and play in the snow.
Enjoying a nice lunch with DaTa.
And getting lots of tickles!!
Since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
The snow WAS a nice surprise, wasn't it??
ReplyDeleteI hope these nasty viruses know that we are SICK OF THEM, and we want them to go far, far away.
Hope to be well enough to see y'all soon.
