No surprise here.

By now, it shouldn't be surprising when I tell you that we've all been sick since Wednesday night.
We've been laying low and spending lots of time indoors, in our jammies.
I certainly hope that this is not a taste of what's to come for the rest of the winter season!  (But deep down, I know we'll be sick every other week.)  This is just a disclaimer to all my local friends:  I have diagnosed myself with S.A.D (seasonal affective disorder).  When the weather starts to get unbearably cold, and we can't go outside to play, I get depressed!  So we need to have LOTS of play dates!  Now that I have a little outdoor loving nugget to take care of, I have a feeling that my S.A.D is going to reach a new level!  It really is so much easier to be a parent when the weather is nice, and all you have to do is go outside and blow bubbles or play catch with a ball.
However, the weather is absolutely gorgeous right now, but we're stuck inside fighting our colds.

Fixing Mommy some chicken soup in her kitchen.

Playing with all her "Melmo" dolls.

Dancing around in the kitchen, during a rare burst of energy, this weekend.

Helping Mommy devour the leftover Halloween candy.  Seriously, someone get that bowl out of here!

Trying to sneak some Goldfish (on the second shelf) before dinner, channelling her inner Ninja.

Enjoying some Goldfish and fruit before dinner (yes, Mommy broke down.)

Showing off her "Melmo Boo boo" on her finger.  She cut her finger and was bleeding pretty badly, so I made another attempt at putting a band-aid on her.  They usually last all of 5 seconds before she rips it off and puts it in her mouth.  But this boo boo was different.  This one had "Melmo" on it, and was very special.  She would point to her finger and say "Melmo Boo Boo" and walk around with her outstretched hand, carefully not allowing it to touch anything.

And then she ate it.

Hopefully next time, I'll be writing to tell you that we're all healthy and getting ready to play outside for hours! Hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep, and Happy Monday tomorrow! (My favorite day of the week!!)

P.S:  This photo is courtesy of Granny Nanny's cell phone. Taken during one of her many babysitting visits. Thanks Granny!
