For Daddy's birtday, Hailey wanted to make sure that his day was perfect. First we let him sleep in a little bit and when he woke up, Buggy was waiting for him downstairs with all of his birthday presents and cards.
I think Hailey enjoyed her Daddy's birthday cards more than he did!
When we were finally able to wrestle the cards from her drooly little hands, we could barely read them!
Next was present time and Hailey loved helping Daddy unwrap the presents we got him!
After presents, they played some birtday airplane. Wheeeee!
And then Buggy got a homemade princess pedicure. Even on her Daddy's birthday, she still finds a way to make the day all about her! (Just like every other day!)
We ate a birthday lunch with Granny Nanny and Grandpa Ben. Here Hailey is making her snorting face. Basically it's to let us know that she's full...but with lots of attitude! Wonder where she gets that from?!
Laughing at her crazy Daddy dancing around the kitchen before we went out to a fancy birthday dinner!
Then we had a little family playtime in her playroom. Her new favorite "toy" is Mommy. She loves laying on my face! Lovely.
After playtime, Daddy had to go pack for another business trip:( Buggy really wanted to go with him and tried to hide in Daddy's suitcase!
She was not happy when we told her that she couldn't go with him.
Hurry home Daddy because we have some more birthday celebrating to do on Tuesday! This time, it's your "Mini-Me's" turn!!
So glad Daddy Doug had such a great birthday. Can't wait to see what you have planned for Buggy's bday...hard to believe it's been a year in some ways, but it also seems like she's been here forever!
