We're back! Hailey survived her first (and last if it was up to her!) long car ride down to Florida! Our travel companion did great on the 13 hour drive!
Buggy wanted to help her Daddy drive, but her feet couldn't reach the pedals...
We took many short breaks to let her stretch her legs out and crawl around.
Once we finally made it to the Sunshine State, Hailey was greeted with beautiful weather and every toy you can imagine!
Her most favorite part of the trip were her daily "Buggy Rides" with her Great Gran-Gran. Every time they came back from a walk, Hailey was crashed out asleep and napped for a long time! Ahhh, the fresh air!
On Christmas Eve, GranMama read her "Twas The Night Before Christmas."
And we went to church as a family.
Aunt Kelly and Uncle Dan came to visit thier niece almost everyday!
On Baby's first Christmas, Hailey couldn"t wait to see what Santa brought her!
...but again, she was more interested in the wrapping paper!
She was the center of attention during Christmas dinner at Kyleighs!
She always found ways to keep us entertained! Eating her foot...
...playing with Daddy...
...wearing her dinner bowl on her head...
...and screaming when it falls off!
Like any good house guest, Hailey helped her GranMama wash dishes.
We had lots of baths and Hailey liked being able to run around "nudie" for awhile because the weather was so warm!
Squirming out of Great Gran-Grans arms!
There was a full moon out that night!
Sitting on her best buddy's lap.
Four generations of Kinards.
GranDaddy took Buggy for lots of walks outside.
And Mommy and Buggy spent lots of time relaxing by the pool!
Me with the two "Preggers!"
Doug with the "Daddy-to-Be's!"
Hailey liked wearing her Daddy's Darden hat while she was outside to protect her balding head from the hot Florida sun.
After a busy week of family bonding, we headed home, with the car bursting at the seams with toys. Hailey was worn out and slept most of the way home, burried under all of her presents.
What a blast. Gotta love the first Christmas when they like the wrapping paper as much as anything else!
