Bring it on!

1) Snow shovel?  Check.
2) Milk?  Check.
3)  Bread?  Check.
4)  Snuggly warm jammies with footies?  (for Buggy!)  Check.

Yep.  We're ready for the much anticipated snow storm!  And we have many indoor activities planned to keep us busy (and keep Hailey's mind off of the fact that she won't be able to go outside for the next couple of days!)

We're going to wrestle with Elmo.

Play in our new playroom.

Read some good books.

Sing songs.

Play with our princess piggies.

Play Peek-A-Boo through our crib.

And keep Mommy and Daddy entertained by being so darn cute!  Yep.  We're ready for some pretty, white, fluffy snow!  And lots of time indoors together as a family, lovin' on our little girl!  Bring it on!

Little Piglet!

Since the Queen Bee of the house (FYI that's NOT me anymore!) decided that she no longer wants to eat her baby food (because that stuff is for babies and she's a big girl!) I decided we would try some solid veggies and fruit.  When I told her she got to eat with her fingers and get really messy, she was on board!

We did try out the spoon at first, but that was clearly too complicated for this 9 month old...but it does make a lot of noise when you bang it on the tray and that's fun!

So next we tried using our fingers to pick up little pieces of noodles and peas (don't worry!  i squished them before i let her eat them, but first i just let her play with the whole ones on her tray...i don't want grandma and grandpa calling me up worried that i'm going to choke thier grandbaby to death!)

She would much rather feed herself nowadays than have Mommy and Daddy feed her... or hold her, or kiss her...Waaaaa!  She's growing up! :(

At first she just stored it all up in her cheeks like I chipmunk...

But she eventually got the hang of it!

Then she tried some apples in her baby feeder...she liked sucking the juice out of them.

And she also liked singing to it!

Then Daddy came home for lunch and they went straight to work, closing on some very important business deals together.

Hailey liked pointing out interesting facts to her Daddy on the computer screen...

...but she also liked licking the computer screen even more!

Even with all that fun eating and playing, at the end of the day, her favorite thing to do is sit on her Daddy's lap and giggle! ;)

Tuesday Mornings

Tuesday mornings have never been sweeter now that I get to wake up to these silly, yet beautiful faces!  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Hailey and I go to Bible Study, and I don't think any of the other mommies miss thier little one as much as I do...I've asked a few of the other ladies if they miss thier sweet babies at all during our meetings, and the only responses I get are, "Are you kidding?  They can stay right where they are in that nursery!"  Not Hailey's mommy though...I guess some people would say I've developed a somewhat unhealthy attachment to my little nugget.  Can you really blame me though?  I'm sure I'll change my tune once she starts crawling and walking...

Happy Tuesday everybody!

Bouncing 'Round the Room!

Hailey has been all smiles ever since her bouncer came this week!

And I don't know why we didn't have one of these bad boys in our house sooner!  She would spend all day in there working out her little legs if I let her!

This blog entry couldn't be complete without yet another picture of Buggy with one of her many men.  This little guy is Jonathan.  They got along great, except for the fact that everytime they got too close to eachother, Jonathan would try to pull Hailey's nose off!  Needless to say, she didn't like that very much, and this is the only picture I could get of the two of them together!  Jonathan's mom is super cool and I'm glad she is part of the "Firm Wives"!

Hailey felt right at home at Jonathan's house, because he also had a bouncer!

We've been battling yet another winter cold (one she picked up from her other man Robert!) all week.  Fortunately for me, I don't have to wipe her runny nose as much becuase as you can see, she likes to take care of it in her own special way!  Yumm!

Aside from having a faucet for a nose, she's still the same happy baby we all know and love!

And on that note, it's 10am which means morning nap for Buggy and TV time for Mommy!! (after I do the laundry, dishes, iron, take out the trash, wash some bottles, pick up toys and smushed Puffs and cookies off the floor, take a shower....maybe the TV will have to wait.  I can't believe I just said that!  What's happening to me?!  I guess I'm just becoming a mommy!)

So many men, so little time!

I do believe that our sweet Hailey has a serious crush on an older man (14 months!) named Trip!  I'm pretty sure it was love at first sight, once she saw that Trip has the same Jump-A-Roo as her!  A man after her own heart!

She's just smitten!

Who can blame the girl?  He's a cute little man!

Trip and Hailey played so well together all afternoon and I got to chat with Trip's super wonderful Mommy, Mandy!

Out of all of his toys, Hailey's favorite was this random stick...we're really not sure what it belongs to!  I couldn't believe that I met another baby who has MORE toys than Hailey!  Doug also won't be too happy about the fact that Mandy and I share the same love for Target!

Hailey is of course immune to all of my crazy picture taking ways, but Trip was just fascinated by my camera and loved posing for me!

The sweet babies did a great job of sharing.

And Trip liked to show Hailey how all of his toys worked.

The two love birds liked giving eachother hugs;)

...and comparing shoes.

Even though it was way past thier afternoon naptimes, we still had to pry them apart when we were leaving!

Yes, I think Buggy has been bitten by the Love Bug!
