I cannot even begin to explain how great this past week has been with Grandaddy Mike! Hailey was spoiled the entire week and so was Mommy! It's amazing all you can get accomplished when you don't have a cute little nugget to lug around! The house is clean, the fridge is stocked, the laundry baskets are empty and most of my Christmas shopping is done!! Hailey already started having "Grandaddy withdrawl symptoms" when, GASP, I put her down for more than 2 minutes!! Apparently that's just not acceptable anymore! She's gotten used to being held, walked, bounced...basically spoiled rotten for 8 days straight! But that's alright! Afterall, that's what grandparents are for right?!
We really do get ruined!! Kate had a total daddy day on Saturday- my sister and I spent the day in the kitchen baking for 7 hours! She got every ounce of his attention and has wanted the same from me ever since... eek!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Gotta love these grandparents. They sure make our jobs a whole lot easier when they are around. And then leave us with spoiled rotten kids! Still, well worth it in the end.
