Hailey's "Due Date"
Today was supposed to be Hailey's due date, but I feel so fortunate to have had a healthy, happy, beautiful baby girl for three weeks already! We celebrated this day with a Memorial Day cookout at Granny Nanny's and Grandpa Ben's. Doug and I were just happy to have baby-sitters for a few hours so we could try to catch up on some sleep! On our ride home, Miss Hailey took a nice nap in her car seat, where she managed to drool all over it! It's pretty impressive that even when she's drooling, she's still adorable!

Wow! That really puts it in perspective. So glad she came early for LOTS of reasons, but mostly because I got to snuggle with her at graduation. She is simply delicious. (And I think she looks like Doug in that picture.)

ReplyDeleteSLEEP! That is exactly what you need. Claire was up all night last night with a fever and it made me wonder why I even want another child!
