We felt the love this February, that's for sure!!!

Our First Family Miracle

We've had an emotional few months.  In early December my doctors found a mass on my mammogram that they were fairly certain was cancerous.  They recommended surgery to remove it, then testing and radiation to follow if needed.  After months of appointments, labs, an MRI, magnetic seed placement, breast surgery and SO MUCH WAITING, we were relieved to find out that it was benign!  My doctor was shocked and so were we!  What a wonderful opportunity for our family to see an answer to prayer and that God does work miracles in our lives.  

Telling the Kids

A tearful dinner at our favorite weekly restaurant spot, Northside Grille, where we told the kids my news in December. Hailey took it worst. 

Lainey cried and then prayed, Avery went outside because she felt sick, and Caleb asked for more french fries ;)

We had a family sleepover that night. 

Surgery Day

I kept myself busy the morning of surgery with my Cycle friends and the YMCA

Gigi came over to sleepover since the kids were off school for parent teacher conferences.

I had some cute visitors while I was recovering in bed. 

Feeling very loved with lots of thoughtful gifts from friends and so much food from our neighbors!

Celebrating the Good News!

It was certainly a Valentine's Day to remember!  I met with my doctor that morning and celebrated the rest of the day!
