Caleb's Baptism - Mother's Day 2017

I can't think of a better way to celebrate Mother's Day this year, than by having our littlest blessing Caleb Douglas baptized. It was truly such a special morning.  Perfect in every way, just like my baby boy.

Caleb's baptism, May 14, 2017, Third Church, Richmond, Va.
Pastor Corey Widmer (his FOURTH time baptizing a tiny Kinard!)
Kathy White (her third time in a row holding the font for a Kinard baptism!)
Pam Douglas (her second time in a row as our Prayer sponsor.  She's prayed for Avery every day of her life!  Amazing.  And now she will add Caleb to that list!)
So very thankful for all of these special people.

The girls were very sweet and kept a hand on their baby brother almost the whole time he was up there.

How special it was to have all of the Moms together for this Mother's Day!

It's going to be hard to top this Mother's Day!

Blessed beyond measure for these four little people!

Happy 8th Birthday Bug!

Happy 8th Birthday to our favorite Frog lover!  We had so much fun celebrating sweet Hailey Grace all week long!  The Birthday Elf showed up and made fast friends with one of Hailey's frogs!

On her actual birthday, Caleb and Mommy surprised Hailey during lunchtime.  We spent lunch and recess with Bug and all of her friends.  After school we went to Barnes and Noble so the Birthday Girl could pick out a new book and everyone got a birthday treat (our birthday tradition!)  Hailey was showered with Froggy birthday cards and treats from her friends all week long!

We concluded her birthday week with a Froggy Birthday Sleepover Party!  Hailey invited one of her favorite friends from school, Charlotte.  They've been friends since preschool at St. Stephen's!  The girls hopped like frogs at Jumpology, ate Sweet Frog and had Hailey's favorite pizza for dinner.  Then we hopped back to her lilypad and opened a bunch of frog presents and scarfed down froggy birthday cake.  The girls stayed up way too late playing "Frog Creek Pond" and reading silly stories.  They eventually fell asleep, all snuggled up together in Hailey's bed :-)  In the morning they had Hailey's favorite donuts, Sugar Shack, watched frog movies, snuggled with Caleb and played more Frog games.  After Charlotte went home, it was time to continue the birthday celebrating with our favorite neighbor Kaitlyn!  She told me it was the greatest week of her little life.  And I believe her!

Some serious Froggy Love!

Hailey's birthday celebration always falls on Kentuky Derby Day!

Busy writing thank you notes!
