February

February has come and gone, and while I may be barely treading water right now, I'm still determined not to miss a single memory of this precious, fleeting time at home with my babies.

Blessed beyond measure.

Hailey (7), Lainey (5), Avery (3).

Heartbreaker.  Caleb (3mos.)

Daddy Daughter Dance

This was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen!  The girls loved being Daddy's date to the Indian Princesses Daddy Daughter dance at the YMCA.  They wore fancy dresses, put on makeup, painted their nails and Daddy bought them corsages.  They went to dinner and then danced the night away with their favorite guy.

Our Valentines

Working hard on valentines for friends and family.

Hailey used some of her money to get Lainey a small valentine treat.

Valentine's Day

The girls have been taking a baking class after school and they made me some delicious heart sugar cookies on Valentine's Day!

Avery was very excited about the valentines her classmates gave her.  Avery passed out bouncy balls with her valentines.

Hailey handed out frogs (of course!)

Lulu gave her friends lovebug erasers.

This little man makes my heart swoon on Valentine's Day and every day!

I felt the love.

I made my Valentine steak and scallops for a surprise Valentine's day dinner.

The girls were excited about their surprise Valentine treats.

Half Birthday Celebrations!

Caleb and I celebrated Lainey's half birthday in JK this month.  We read a story during lunch and spent the afternoon hanging out in JK with Lulu and her buddies.

Lulu in the birthday chair.

We decided to celebrate everyone's half birthday when we got home with cupcakes and candles!

Caleb loved the JK birthday bear!

Caleb's Third Month

He loves Dora!

Fourth child naps where he can, when he can!

Crazy hair. Don't care!

He loves his whales!

Lulu is always by her little brothers side!

Caleb loves the ladies at the YMCA Child Watch!

Napping in the stroller, enjoying some very warm February weather!

The girls always have to give Caleb a kiss before they go to school.

Hailey thinks he looks like a baby worm when he's all swaddled up.

Sexy boy.

Red Room and Avery

Hibernation day in the Red Room.

This crazy trio!

Avery was so excited to have both of her boyfriends over for a playdate!

They played "bad guys" and Barbies!

Avery has made a new best friend, "Marfa." These red heads are seriously adorable together.

She had way too much fun helping me make Shake n Bake chicken!

Giving mommy a makeover.

It happens.

Playing at the YMCA.

Cutest shopping buddy.

(Avery's Hunger Strike)

It all started with me asking Avery to try just ONE green bean.  36 hours later, she still hadn't eaten the bean, or anything else for that matter.  We for sure thought we would win this battle over her picky eating, but she broke us and we waved the white flag.

Hour one. Dinnertime.

The next morning...

The next afternoon...

24 hours later...

The next morning....

Mommy caved.  Stinker.

 First Grade Play

Hailey and her classmates were the cutest astronomers I've ever seen for their 1st grade play, "I can be anything."  I was very impressed with all of the songs, lines and dances they remembered!

Caleb stole the show at the end of the program!

More First Grade Fun

Outreach project. Making dog chew toys to deliver to dogs at the SPCA.

Valentine's Day crafts at school.

Hailey lost another tooth!

It's cookie time and this little Daisy has been very busy!

What your kitchen looks like when your Mommy is your sister's Daisy Troop leader!

Delivering cookies.

Cookie booth at Kroger!  We sold over 100 boxes in less than 2 hours!

St. Catherine's Spirit Week

Patriotic day.

Dress as your favorite musician/artist day.  The girls went as themselves:-) By the end of the day, they had all of their teachers and friends sign their smocks!

Offering Helpers

Fun in Williamsburg

Fun at Uncle Poogie and Emily's.

Riding the Ferry with Layla.

Room Swap

After months of nightly fighting because Avery "won't stop singing!" We finally split Lainey and Avery up into their own rooms.  Avery is super exited to have her own big girl bed and room.

Now she can sing herself to sleep whenever she pleases!

Lainey is SO happy to have her room back and she has a new desk too!

Absence really does make the heart grow fonder!  They've been getting along better than ever!
And they even had a sleepover, for old times sake!

Caleb is excited about his own "man-cave" in the old guest bedroom.  We asked Hailey if she wanted this room (with it's own bathroom!) but she said no, she would miss her sisters too much!  So cute.  But I have a feeling she's going to regret that decision when she's a teenager!

Time Stand Still....
I hope they stay this close forever.
