Daisy Days and April Pictures

We've been loving the pretty spring weather and have kept ourselves very busy this month!

Daisy Days 2016

We all had a great time during Daisy Days at Hailey's school!  My favorite part is always watching Hailey's class performance during Puttin' on the hits.  This year they were Funky Monkeys!  (I think it was Hailey's favorite part too!)  But the petting zoo, bouncy houses and games are fun too!

Hailey was in her element during Puttin' on the Hits.  She was the funkiest monkey up there!

Ms. Hargis' Funky Monkeys

Practicing before the big performance.

Ready to cheer on Hailey and her classmates.

Hailey loved the petting zoo!

My animal lover!

Mauling the puppies in the puppy pit!

Loving the Lambie for Lainey.

She loved the baby bunnies!

These two ran wild all over Daisy Days that morning!

Hailey and her BFF Bella.
Making their own cupcakes at Catherine's Confections.

Waiting in one of many bouncy house lines!

Visiting the clinic to have their "wounds" treated.

Avery spent most of the time digging for tiny treasures in the sandbox.

Crafting at the craft table.

Yum. Cotton candy!

We had 4 tickets left when we were ready to leave.  Enough for one chance to play the cake walk and Lainey won!

Picking out her prized cake.
She was looking for the cake that we made (we called it Sour Flour Patch) but it was already taken.  (Obviously!)
The girls loved watching the Fourthies at the Maypole.

Wounded at Daisy Days!
The girls were very proud of the cake they won!

We did Daisy Days!  Now it's time for a rest.

Refuling (on something other than cotton candy and cupcakes!) at Jason's Deli.

This one didn't last much longer once we got home,

Cake tastes better when you won it!!

Hailey and her classmates were invited to an English Tea at St. Christopher's.  They put on fancy dresses and the boys gave them flowers and pictures.  Then they had "tea" and cookies.  It was adorable. Hailey said "her boy" was very nice.

Scientist Hailey.

As soon as she gets home from school, she does this.  She has one thirsty little mind!

One of the many science projects my scientist and I did this month.

Making our own erupting volcano!

She was feeling extra froggy this day!

Hugs for Bridget during the senior program.

Avery and I were library helpers and helped Hailey and her classmates checkout books.
Hailey's birthday book for school.

Picture from her egg drop experiment as scientist of the week last month!

Crazy hair day at ballet!

Hailey won the contest for craziest hair!

Reading Frog and Toad outside on the green with Ms. Hargis.

Science fun at school!

Earning her Yoga patch with her Daisy Troop!

Lainey Brooke April Pics

Soccer star Lulu!

Her first game was a disaster.  She cried and refused to get on the field.  The next game she promised me she would play for 5 minutes, and we had to drag her OFF the field!

Lulu and her biggest fan.

Lainey was excited to see that Hailey's classmate and friend Hope was on the opposing team!  When they saw each other, they hugged for a long time!

Lulu, Alexa and Allie.  Soccer teammates, green room pals, future JK buddies and BFF's.

Go Giants!  (They are called the Giants because they are by far the smallest team out there!)

Lulu plays for the Mary Munford soccer league.  (The school that we lived directly across from for our first years in Richmond.)  We love saying "Hi" to our old house every Wednesday.

After soccer Sweet Frog!

She would wear her jersey every day if I let her!

She was very excited about picking out her blue soccer gear!

Lainey had more soccer fun during St. Stephen's Soccer Shots lunch bunch!

The girls cheered on Kaitlyn during her soccer game!

Earth Day fun in the Green Room.

After school playdate with her besties!

Lainey was very excited to show her sisters the baby chicks and ducks that hatched at her school.

Hailey had a day off from school for conferences, so she came with me to help out in the St. Stephen's snack room!  She felt like a big girl cutting up the fruit and washing the dishes.

Lainey was excited to bring her friends into the snack room to get served by her big sister.

Hailey will immediately begin a science project when she gets home, while Lainey immediately goes into relax mode!

She's our good eater!

Cookie treat on a date with Daddy.
Sleepy Lulu, in Mommy's bed.

Making her "Babu face."

Our sweetly special Lulu.

Avery loves playing with her buddies in the Orange Room!

Silly girl

"Helping" Mommy and Daddy pick out countertops for our bathroom.

She fought this dinner battle with Mommy til the bitter end.

"I love noodles! Hooray!"

Victory for both of us!

Forever Playmates

Sleepover with Layla

The girls loved having Layla sleepover!  They had a backyard party with the neighbors, splashed around in the tub, stayed up way too late giggling and Layla even went to Sunday school with us the next morning!.  (Of course she had to match the crew!)
