Valentine's Day and Lots More!

It's been over a month since our last post and boy have we been busy!  We had our first snow of the season and Avery's first official snow since she was too little last year to enjoy it.  The girls have been busy getting ready for Valentine's Day and had lots of fun making Valentines for their friends and celebrating in their class parties.  We've had lots of exciting playdates with friends and cousin Layla, and even more fun visits with Gigi and Babu, Daddy took the big girls to a U of R girls basketball game, Gigi got to spend an afternoon in JK, an we had a memorable Valentine's Day.
Here are a months worth of pictures!  Enjoy!

All dolled up for Sunday school.

Heart jammies for my babydolls and their babydolls.

Lainey and Lulu and her puppy Star.

Hailey and Isabelle and her puppy Belle.

Playing in the camper with Lulu.
The first snow of the year!

The big sisters were excited to show Avery how much fun snow is!

Between the snowsuit and the snow, it took poor Avery a little while to get her footing.

Hailey dove right in!

Daddy and his snow babies!

Of course they had to taste it!

We had to tell Hailey that this is not such a good idea (we've all seen A Christmas Story, right?!!)

Avery LOVED the snow!

She kept waddling around saying "snow! snow!"

Pretty little Lainey.

Daddy and Avery.

Mommy and Avery.

Hailey loves making snow angels!

She made them all over the place!

Lulu decided to give it a try and was giggling the whole time!

Big snowy hills are fun to roll down!

Our pretty house covered in snow.

Kaitlyn and Miles came to play too!

The girls have a big time crush on Miles ;-)

Hailey and Daddy were the first ones to sled down the hill.
"Weeee!"

She had a blast!
I was surprised when cautious Lulu wanted to give it a try!

There she goes!
Big smile and tongue sticking out means she loved it!

She has gone from little girl to "big girl" overnight!

Avery was laughing away while watching her sisters sled down the hill!

She even wanted to see what this sledding thing was all about!  (no more after this one because Mommy had to catch that sweet little sledding nugget!)

Daddy's turn!

Avery loved her first official snow day.

Gigi and the girls came for a visit to the JK house!

Lainey loved sitting in on Hailey's Spanish class! She was totally engrossed in the lesson and has been trying to speak Spanish ever since!

Hailey loved showing us some of her artwork.

Avery loves the babies in the cubby house.

Making patterns in the sand.

Avery was fascinated with the birds!

Hailey helped Avery with some artwork.

Hailey's building block ;-)

The girls had lots of fun playing in the outdoor classroom.

Avery had fun walking laps around the playground.

The fairy wings are always a hit!

Hailey has been really enjoying her yoga class during PE too!

Hailey read her first book!! (ok, so it was a book about frogs that she had completely memorized, but we're still super proud of her new reading skills!)

Hailey's class helped raise money for the World Pediatric Project and helped Baby Hollison get a new heart.  Hailey even (barely) made it on the front page of the newspaper! (bottom left).

Lainey has been having so much fun in the Red Room this year.  She still spends most of her time with her favorite buddy, Alexa.
It was hibernation day at school so Lainey got to bring Lambie with her.  They made a cave for Lambie to hibernate in and drank hot chocolate.

Poor Lambie and gone missing though.  It's a catastrophe!  The last person to be seen with her was Avery.  When we ask Avery where Lambie is, she says. "I dunno?!" and puts her hands up.  We've searched high and low and emptied every bag of trash.  Our next step, fliers on telephone poles.  Poor Lainey is distraught.

Lainey had her friend from school, Allie, over to play.  They were so cute and must have changed clothes 100 times!

Lainey was awarded a medal for her excellent gymnatic skills in gymnastics class!

She is very proud of herself!

The girls love playing with Layla!

Lainey and Layla are attached at the hip.

We all had fun at pizza night with the Farmer family!

Lainey's friend Ella let her borrow her Elsa dress after pizza night.  She wore it to shcool the next day and was so excited!

After church lunch and Jason's Deli.

Avery loves the meatballs and ice cream at Jason's Deli.

After school trip to Sweet Frog.

Hailey is loving dance class.

Hailey and her friend Virginia had fun painting pottery at a friends birthday party.

Daddy took the girls to a U of R girls basketball game. Hailey got to go last year, but this was Lainey's first time.

Hailey caught a t-shirt from one of the cheerleaders!

Lainey was fascinated with the whole event.

We finally renewed our membership at the Children's Museum and I don't know why we didn't do it sooner!  The girls always have a great time and Avery didn't stop smiling for the entire visit!

She wouldn't sit still long enough for me to take her picture (which is out of character for her!  She loves getting her picture taken!)

Hailey headed straight to the craft area.

Lainey went for the dress up.

Then she met her sister in the craft room.  Only at the Children's Museum can you paint in a princess gown!

The Kinard sisters took over the sandbox!

Then they dominated the cafe.

Finally, they made their last stop at the grocery store.

Mommy/Daddy date night in Williamsburg.

The girls are always exhausted after a day at Gigi and Babu's.

Little Red is 17 months!

Avery went from walking to running in a matter of days and is now all over the place!  She is talking up a storm, loves dancing and babydolls and has definitely taken over the "Queen" position in the house!  She's a feisty one!

Avery LOVES her big sisters and they sure love her!

Avery is getting in all sorts of teeth and has been having lots of fun trying them out!  She's used them to eat waffle fries...

Breadsticks...

Icecream cones...
And meatballs!
This little girl loves meatballs!!

She also loves smiling for pictures.  The minute I pull out my phone to take a picture, she says "CHEESE!"

She also loves her paci and her lovies.  Sweet snugly baby.

Lainey and Avery have been having fun together in the afternoons. Lainey has become a very good big sister.

Hailey and Lainey have become the best of friends too!  There have been even more giggles and pitter pattering footsteps in our house lately!  It's music to my ears.

The girls busted out some pretty impressive dance moves during the Super Bowl halftime show!  I'm 99% sure that we've watched the halftime show more than any other family on the planet!

The girls had been having fun getting ready for Valentine's Day.  We made lots of yummy cupcakes and cookies!
They each made a chain to count down the days until Valentine's Day.

Hailey was busy making valentines for her class.  (Daisy seeds for the girls in her class because the daisy is her school flower).

Lainey helped me make treat bags for her Red Room friends.

Lainey and Avery, all dressed up and ready for the Red Room Valentine's Day party!
Mommy brought heart cupcakes and  read a Valentine's Day story to Lainey's class.

Lulu loved having Mommy, Daddy and Avery in her class for the day!
Avery felt like one of the big kids!

Lainey and her BFF Alexa.

Lainey made me a Valentine bracelet to match hers.
Lainey (with her new lovey since, sadly, Lambie is still missing), gave Hailey a new frog that she picked out at the store for Valentine's Day ;-)  It was a sweet moment between the two of them.

Our three loves on Valentine's Day morning.

Sweets for our sweeties!

They hit the American Girl motherload!

We've got lots of love to go around in our house!

Comparing treat boxes (fortunately, they were all exactly the same!)

Avery LOVES Mickey and Minnie Mouse and yelled "MOUSE! MOUSE!" as soon as she came down the stairs and saw her new treats.

Hailey immediately started playing "JK" with Isabelle with her new school outfit, backpack and napmat.

Our tiny Valentine's with their favorite Valentine treats!
