It's Springtime?

 

Oh no!  More snow!  It's technically Spring, but you wouldn't guess that by looking out the window today.  There are a few inches of snow on the ground and it's still coming down.  We've never been more excited about a trip to sunny Florida to visit Grandma and Grandpa! 

 

Meanwhile, we've been trying desperately to channel our inner Springtime...even if we have to wear long sleeve shirts and winter tights under our Easter dresses!!  We've been hitting up playgrounds and looking for flowers and  butterflies (before they were rudely covered up with 3 inches of snow this morning...)

 

Hailey started Soccer Shots this week with her friends Maddie, Clarke and Madeline.  She had a blast and was so cute running around, kicking the ball.  She even scored a goal during one of her drills!  I'm just hoping that the weather gets a little warmer, because we froze out there this week and the girls still have the runny noses to prove it!!  Then we had another great Thursday dinner with our favorite families from church and their sweet children. 

 

We spent the weekend celebrating an early Easter at Gigi and Babu's.  The girls LOVED dying Easter eggs, and had even more fun hunting them!  They were so cute!  Then we went to visit Aunt Kay and Uncle Ken at their new house.  Hailey was super excited to see that Kaitlyn was there visiting her Grandma.  The girls played together the whole time and even went on another egg hunt! 

 

Now we're busy packing for a week in the Florida sunshine!!  Ready or not, here we come!!

Lulu LOVES shoes!  And lucky for her, she has quite the assortment.  Her favorite activity is putting her shoes on, doing a little strut around the house and then taking them off.  Over and over again. 

Looks like Princess Hailey got into Mommy's makeup.  Her entire face was covered in lip gloss!!!

All she wanted for Easter the year was a "baby Gumbo" doll.  She loves the movie Dumbo and she loves her doll!!  That movie makes this pregnant Mama cry like a baby every time I watch it!!!!

Looks like Lulu loved her Dora chair.  She made herself comfy in her chair, with some candy from Mommy's Easter basket and her Dora show right away!

Lainey wasn't very good at spotting the eggs before her big sister got to them.  I guess that was a good thing though, because each egg that she found, she ended up tearing apart!!

It snowed.  Again.  I'm so over this snow that we didn't even go out an play in it this time. 

Lainey enjoyed picking out her swimsuits for our trip to Florida the week!!  She could care less about her cellulite and pasty white skin!!  I envy her!



Let's hope these two are just as sweet on the 2 hour plane flight tomorrow!!!
