Girls Just Want to Have Fun....well, until it's bedtime...

Buggy and I had an exciting day yesterday! We woke up, and played in her Jumper-A-Roo after breakfast....I know, it sounds like a bad idea, but usually her breakfast stays in her tummy!

"Look Ma, NO BOOKS!!" She's so proud of herself for growing tall enough to not need her Daddy's economic textbooks under her feet anymore!!

Then we went for our usual morning walk (or parade around the neighborhood where Mommy gets to dress Buggy up really cute and count how many compliments she gets on her cute baby girl!! Selfish, I know....she's just so darn cute!)

After a short nap, we got ready for our playdate with Miss Elizabeth and her two sweet "baby" girls! Hailey and Lauren hit it off instantly!! They were like two peas in a pod and Hailey couldn't keep her eyes off of her! (How can you blame her, she's super cute too!!)

It took Buggy a little time to warm up to Lauren's older sister, Paige...

...but after a few games of 'airplane', 'duck-duck-goose' and a big bottle of milk, they became the best of friends and Hailey was smiling and singing to us for the rest of the night!

No playdate is complete without a dance party to Hannah Montana on our gym equipment! Hey, at least someone is using that treadmill!

After an exciting dinner at Ruby Tuesday's (because Paige told me if she didn't get Mac-N-Cheese for supper she was "going to just die!" which, I can totally relate to, because Mac-N-Cheese is delicious!) we headed home, because it was way past Buggy's bedtime and someone was partied out! See if you can tell which pretty girl in this picture had enough fun for one night...

Week in Review! We're back in business!

Finally! I can blog again! Now that my loving and courageous husband fought the nasty computer virus we had (and won!), I can put up pictures again of our fat little pumpkin for Grandma and Grandpa!

Buggy is now big enough to lounge in her Big Girl Chair (which we really bought for Bears, Auburn and Cubs viewings....along with some Bravo TV occasionally!)

A rare family photo (usually it's me behind hiding behind the lens!)

Granny Nanny and our 'lil Pumpkin!

Fall is officially in full swing here in Virginia! Hailey and I spent over an hour raking leaves in the front yard this morning and now it looks like I never even touched it! Ugh...

But there's still no doubt in my mind that October is my absolute favorite month! The leaves are just gorgeous! Buggy and I sat outside for hours today playing in them!

She loves staring up at the huge yellow tree in our front yard....and Mommy got to relax in the beautiful fall weather and read an Us Weekly!! (One of my many guilty pleasures that I hope my daughter doesn't inherit!!)

Fall is here! Yippee!!!

Buggy loves her new fall wardrobe! We got to visit Baby Ella and her mommy Dayna this week and we both stocked up on cute fall attire for our sweet girls! It's funny...once you have a baby, you don't get excited about shopping for yourself...(mainly because most of the clothes I've bought lately were purchased because I can't fit into any of my other clothes!!) It's just so much more fun to buy little clothes for Buggy! At least one of us can be stylish!

I couldn't get her to look at me (or the camera for that matter!) there was just too much going on outside today...a soccer game across the street, moms walking babies, joggers, puppies, cars...you name it! I love our house!!!

Again...our A.D.D. baby staring at the pre-school soccer game across the street. She even had a soccer team of admirers after the game! So cute!

It's been "Operation Re-Shape Buggy's Head" here in the Kinard household. She has one little lump on the side of her large dome-piece that we're trying to flatten out while her head is still soft and squishy! Here are a few shots of our inventive propping techniques to get her to put pressure on it!

So, I went to put the clothes in the dryer...and maybe have a bite of icecream (or two, or three...) Anyways, when I came back to the living room, Buggy was NOT where I left her!! She had managed to roll her chubby self all the way across the entire living room and stopped under her swing!!! I guess that means I can't leave her alone EVER anymore!

I think she just wanted to watch her Baby Einstein up close!

Love-Bug found her feet this week...and she won't leave them alone! If we put socks on them, she gets so mad!!

It's a good thing the 80's are making a comeback, because Buggy is rockin' the leg warmers like nobody's business! Such a fashionista! You go girl!

After a long 5 months of fighting over attention and "who's cuter" (because we all know Buggy is!!) Hailey and the puppies finally made peace this week!

This was the first visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house where Buggy hasn't had a huge crying fit because the puppies piercing 'barks' and 'yips' scared her! Now they are eachother's favorite new playmates and peace was finally established! Hooraay! Afterall, Buggy is all about world peace!

5 Months & FABULOUS!

When you're 5 fabulous months old you get to....

1) Melt your Mommy's heart when you smile real big and show off your chubby cheeks!

2) Drool a bunch and have someone wipe it up for you...

3) Giggle when Mommy makes a silly face...

4) Get a little scared when that crazy crab pops out of nowhere on your favorite "Baby Einstein" DVD...

5) Cry a little bit, because you got scared when that crazy crab popped out of nowhere on your "Baby Einstein" DVD...

6) Wear cute pumpkin hats...

7) Sit in you first big girl chair!

8) Eat your first big girl oatmeal in your big girl chair!

9) Eat the spoon instead of your big girl oatmeal-n-bananas!

10) Have lunch with Daddy and show everybody where you get your good looks from!

11) Laugh when Daddy dances around the kitchen singing 80's music to you!

12) Get naked before you eat your sweet potatoes, because Mommy says they stain!

13) Mmmmm! You get to smear your food all over your face (and eat a little bit of it too!) It's so much fun!

14) Then you get to throw your spoon on the floor so the sweet potatoes get all over Mommy! It's so funny!

15) You get to watch "Baby Einstein" in your jammies until you get sleepy!
You can even try watching it from different positions..here is #1 (tummy, legs up!)

#2 (tummy, legs down)

#3 (on your left side)

#4 (and then on your right side!)

Yep...when you're 5 months and fabulous, life is pretty sweet! (I didn't even mention the part about how you can poop in your pants and someone will always clean it up for you!! Now that's the life!)

Play Date!

Here are a few pictures from our playdate with Ella and her Mommy Dayna! There aren't a lot of them because, to say that we had our hands full would be an understatement! Sweet Ella is a month older than Hailey and boy is she ACTIVE! Hailey just stared at Ella in amazement for the whole day! I guess we have a lot to look forward to in the coming month!

Playing with their rattles...

...a little tummy-time...

...and some girl talk.

Getting some lovin' from Miss Dayna!
I love Ella's mommy and I can tell that Hailey and Ella are going to be best buds! We had a great day!
