Rollin' with her Cubbies!

Buggy has just learned a new trick! Brace yourself people. It's pretty amazing.

1) She lifts her big noggin up off the ground...

2) She sticks her "big-booty-in-training" up high in the air...

3) She flops her arm under her little body...

4) And Ta-dah! She's rolled over people! What a big girl!

All that hard work just to be able to see her Cubbies twirling around above her head! There are few things in her little life that make Buggy happier than her Cubs mobile!

Unfortunately, they are the same Cubs that make her Mommy, Daddy and especially her Grandpa Ben very unhappy (most of the time! Stupid Cubs!)
But, we won't tell her that. Just look at that face!

After all that flipping over and listening to "Take me out to the ballgame", about 100 times...it was time for a nap. But seriously, how can anyone sleep like that?! That is her sleep position of choice these days, which makes Mommy and Daddy very nervous!
That's much better Buggy! Night-night!

Take that Macroeconomics!

While I admittedly hope that our daughter inherits her father's math gene, I can't say that I've been much help! Not only can I not do any math whatsoever, (unless, of course, I can use my fingers and toes to come up with answer!) but so far, I haven't set a good example by having Buggy stomp and jump all over her Daddy's math textbooks!

After all, I had to find some use for them since Doug insists on keeping them all!

Now she can actually jump in her jump-a-roo!
Here's our sweet baby proudly showing off her double chins. Now, if only I could be that proud of mine!
Even though she got tons of compliments on her dress at church, she was less interested in being a fashionista, and more interested in seeing how it tasted. (and apparently, it was pretty good!)

She can finally reach the toys on her playmat...

...but she gets mad at them when she can't pull them off!

I knew someday she would get tired of her annoying mommy taking so many pictures of her, but I didn't think she would tire of it so soon :( I'm just preparing her for all the paparazzi she will have to endure once she become famous (because with her looks and spunk, fame is inevitable!)

"Talk to the hand Mommy! No more pictures!"

Another exciting Thursday!

Buggy woke up ready to eat this morning! She was waiting for me in her rocking chair wondering why her bottle was empty! (Well, not really, but she might as well have been by the sound of her cry!)

I'll take getting awaken by my adorable crying baby any day...especially if she lets me get a full nights rest like she has been! (Good girl Hailey! Mommy loves you!)

After we broke our fast on some yummy milk, we went downstairs to play in Buggy's new Jump-a-roo!

Doesn't it look exciting?!!

Unfortunately, when you are in the 5th percentile for your height, the toys aren't exactly "one-size-fits-all"....

...even though her feet can't touch the ground, and there's still no "jumping" in her "jump-a-roo", she likes reaching for all the toys, and it plays some cute music.

After some fun in the not so bouncy, bouncer, Buggy decided to catch up on a little t.v. Don't judge me! I'll have you know, my intentions weren't for her to watch the t.v, she actually had some very interesting toys in front of her, but she's still drawn to the boob-tube...I wonder where she gets that from?....

Showing a little leg after bath time! Woo-woo!

So fresh and so clean!

After bath time, Daddy came home for lunch! He's trying to get our Buggy to be a pop drinker like him...but if I have anything to do about it, she's going to be just like her Mommy and hate the stuff ! Plus, it's bad for your teeth!!

It's always nice to see our favorite guy in the middle of the day!

Next, we played with some toys...

...and loved on her favorite blankie....

...and then it was bedtime.

Sweet dreams Buggy. Tomorrow, we'll do it all over again!

Rattle and Roll!

Today we went shopping with my Richmond BFF Aly to my new favorite store, Rattle and Roll. Of course Hail-Bug didn't leave empty handed! (but Mommy might have to pick up a part time job STAT!)

Buggy and I took our time getting out of bed this morning...we knew we had to rest up for our exciting day of shopping!

...then we did a little channel surfing....

...and laughed at Regis and Kelly....

....and played in our crib....

...and splashed in the tub...

....then we finally got dressed, played a little bit, and then we went SHOPPING!

Finally, We relaxed at home with Aly in the air conditioning (it was HOT today!)

Buggy is already the cutest baby in Richmond, but now she will also be the best dressed!

Dinner with the Richmond Elite!

Hailey had dinner with our favorite Richmond friends last night. Marshall works with Doug and Aly is super sweet and did I mention she is the greatest cook EVER! (if I wasn't friends with her, I probably wouldn't like her, because Doug hasn't stopped RAVING about the chicken salad she made over a month ago!)

The "parents-to-be" with Hail-Bug. Aly and Marshall are expecting their first sweet baby this winter! Hailey can't wait for her new best friend to get here!

Eating dinner with the adults like a big girl!

Hailey was having so much fun with us, that she wouldn't fall asleep! Here she is fighting off her sleepiness at midnight last night! (It's now 11:30am the next day, and our angel is still sleeping!)

The Land of Corn and Beans!

Hailey, Granny Nanny and I just got home from our memorable trip to Illinois. Hailey got to meet all of her midwestern relatives, we had a baby shower where Hail-Bug was the guest of honor, attended a pig roast and we even managed to stock up on some Cubs and Bears gear. I'm not sure if it was the cool Illinois air, or the hectic schedule and all of the baby mauling, but alert the media...Hailey is now sleeping through the night! Woo Hoo! I hope this trend continues! Here are a few pictures of our whil-wind of a trip!

All smiles!

Napping while our plane was delayed...she was a great sport! We ended up spending almost 12 hours in the airport on the way home and Hailey did great!....

...mommy, on the other hand, had to calm her nerves with an icecream cone! Mmmm!

Hailey was so happy to see her Daddy again! Even though it was 1am by the time we got home, Hailey perked up as soon as she saw her favorite guy! Seven days is way too long to go without kisses from Daddy!
