Florida Trip
We had our first family vacation to Florida this past weekend to celebrate Doug's sister's wedding! Hailey was a great traveller and slept the whole time on the plane. She had tons of cuddles and kisses from all her Florida family and friends that she never even had a chance to cry the whole weekend. I have a feeling this week is going to be a big reality check for the both of us (she's not used to being put down and we've gotten used to all the extra help!) Here are a few pictures from our busy weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures yet from the wedding day (because mom forgot to bring the camera to the church! Sorry!)
My Florida posse!
Hailey and her aunt Kelly.
Hailey loved all the attention from everyone!
The Bogues and the Kinards! Congrats to Bryan and Kate on their pregnancy!!
Hailey and Mama on our way to Kelly's bridesmaids lunch!
Great Gran-Gran, Grandma Kinard and Hailey Grace. Three (of the four) generations of beautiful Kinard women!
Hailey's first plane ride to visit Grandma and Grandpa Kinard.
"Baby Hailey" and her new best friend Kyleigh!
Thanks to Kyleigh and her mom (my new BFF Shannon!) Hailey will have a cute wardrobe and tons of toys for years to come! (We LOVE the hand-me-downs fellow Gardners!!)

Father's Day
We had a perfect first Father's Day! Hailey surprised her Daddy with a card and a poopy diaper!
Hailey is so lucky to have such a wonderful Daddy!

Back to work.
Well, we are halfway through Doug's first week of work. Us girls have been doing pretty good home alone, but we sure do miss the man of the house when he's gone. Hailey is always very excited when her Daddy gets home!

Vaccination Day...
Ok. Seriously. Could someone have warned me about the size of that massive needle that the pediatrician used for Hailey's first vaccination?! It must have been 6 inches long, and I have NEVER heard her scream that loud! I don't know who was crying more, Hailey, or me! At least she has hopefully forgotten that traumatic experience by now, but her mom sure hasn't! If she was old enough to ask for ice cream for dinner, I would let her have it...heck, I kind of feel the urge to go out and by her a pony too!
Just a few pictures of Hailey's first battle wound...

Random Sunday Happenings...
Hailey and I enthusiastically welcomed Daddy home today! Hailey can't wait for some cuddle time with her favorite guy, and I can't wait to nap!

Hailey made a new favorite friend...Mr. Fuzzy Bunny.

We are trying to brainwash our daughter into becoming a Cubs fan with her Cubs mobile...maybe we should tell her now that she is going to be destined for disappointment season after season...unless, maybe "this year is our year?!"...
This is what happens when you fall asleep with a wet head.....
